Calling, Responsibility and Assignment

Judges 4:4 Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, she judged Israel at that time.

Deborah was at the same time a;

1. A prophetess

2. A wife

3. A Judge

By calling, deborah was a prophetess,

By responsibility she was a wife,

By Assignment, she was a judge

Responsibility can be generic, anybody can do what you do, you might not be punished for not doing what you’re responsible for if you can get another person to fix it on your behalf, but the call of God upon you? Who can answer it on your behalf? Every woman is a prospective wife, but many tarries just at knowing their responsibilities (wife) and not knowing what should be known first which is their calling. some knows their calling and responsibilities, they don't know their assignment, so even after knowing that God’s call is upon them, they don’t know what to do with it.

Your assignment can determine your location, Deborah lived between Ramah and bethel where she was judging the people of israel, once you agree with God to stay in the location of your assignment, such place becomes green(God brings resources) pasture. Don’t be distracted by the escape mindset that you leave the environment your assignment can be done and counted to credit for you, you can do it anywhere, but it’s only fulfilling when you do it where God wants you to do it and you follow his geographic mapping for your life. Jesus was born in Bethlehem, escaped to Egypt, returned through Nazareth to Capernaum.

As bad as Egypt is in figurative expression that even makes us pray and say “the Egyptians we see today we see them no more” it was still an abode for Jesus

His relocation to Nazareth was to fulfill the prophecy that something good can come out of Nazareth when Nathaniel asked in John 1:46

Jesus was not aimlessly moving about, assignment determined his moves.

Your calling is eternal (Jer 1:5)

Your responsibility is not eternal,

Your assignment is not eternal,

The last two finds expression in the scope of time, but your calling had been before you were formed in your mother's womb. Assignments are dependent on calling, so if there is no calling, there is no assignment

Deborahs of today must learn to manage those 3 parts of their lives and this is not about women alone.

*Their calling

*Their responsibilities

*Their assignment

If you don't make a good woman/wife, you can not make a good warrior,

The hierarchy is from God to Christ to the church to the husband to the wife. how can a wife who has not successfully submitted to the husband/man understand Jesus and submit to him, when it is actually from Jesus to the man? Also, how can man touch God when he hasn’t given all to Jesus?

I pray for you child of God, May you understand the hierarchy of your life in order of importance, and may you be divinely ordered to be at the right places in all seasons of your life.
